Frequently Asked Question

For a Direct restoration to be counted towards your targets by the Portfolio you must enter a restoration treatment for the material you used when restoring the tooth e.g. :

• Restoration - Amalgam
• Restoration - Composite
• Restoration - Glass ionomer
• Restoration - RMGIC
• etc.

and select the surface (or surfaces) you performed the restoration on. 

Where appropriate, restorations to a single surface will count towards the "Simple Restoration" target, and restorations performed on more than one surface will count towards "Complex Restoration" targets.

Restorations without surfaces selected will not count towards targets so make sure you accurately select these when recording your experience.
